The problem

Remittance is a trust product. Someone sending money home wants to know the exact rate, the exact fee and the exact amount that lands — before committing. Hide any of it and they abandon the transfer.

What I did

  1. Put the live exchange rate, fee and total cost on screen together, updating as the amount changes, so nothing is revealed late.
  2. Made the send/receive pairing the centre of the interface — you type what you send, you immediately see what they get.
  3. Designed card and bank payment paths side by side, with the reassurance that the card isn't charged until the total is confirmed.
  4. Kept receive-method and mobile-money-partner selection in the same card as the money, rather than pushing them to another step.

Outcome

A remittance flow where the number that matters — what actually arrives in Ethiopia — is visible from the first interaction.
