The problem
Booking transport is a map problem and a timing problem at once. If either the location interface or the real-time state is confusing, people stop trusting the booking and call someone instead.
What I did
- Streamlined the booking flow so choosing a destination and confirming a ride stayed on one continuous surface.
- Designed location interfaces that keep the user oriented while the real-time state updates underneath them.
- Reduced the number of decisions between opening the app and having a confirmed booking.
Outcome
A booking experience with measurably better usability across the real-time booking and location flows.
