The problem
ERP requirements arrive as spreadsheets of client demands, not as user needs. Building straight from that list produces software that technically does everything and practically helps no one.
What I did
- Translated complex, client-authored requirements into user flows before any interface design started.
- Held a single interaction language across web and mobile so the same workflow felt like the same product on either.
- Led design remotely across a distributed team for three years, keeping the system coherent as scope grew.
Outcome
Improved task completion rates on key user workflows, and an interface system that held together across web and mobile as the platform grew.
